| "PRAISE ADONI" our YOUth Prayer Group visits Aashadeep Date: 23rd March 2008 Time: 4.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Theme: Because He Lives |
![]() Some of the "PRAISE ADONI" YOUth Prayer Group members work out their strategy for the evening |
![]() The terminally ill children waited in anticipation for the evening to unfold. What surprises were in store for them, they wondered. |
![]() First came the Magician. In his hurry to reach Aashadeep in time he had to skip his afternoon meal. He made up for the same by chewing up a few paper rolls. |
![]() My My! Skipping a meal does not mean that you have to eat knives as snacks!! Not really, it was time for the Juggler to start his act and was he good and scary too. |
![]() Children, do'nt try this at home because those who play with fire normally get burnt. But not our freindly neighbourhood Juggler. He put on a class act with his sticks of fire. |
![]() Let the games begin. With a little help from the "PRAISE ADONI" group, the toddlers enjoyed an exhilarating game of musical chairs. |
![]() The awe and wonder in the eyes of this child speaks volumes. She no longer feels dejected and all alone. There are so many nice people who love her. |
![]() Who says we do'nt have someone who loves us and cares for us. |
![]() The joy on their faces and the sound of little children's laughter tells it all. What a lovely evening this has been. |
![]() "Thank you lovely people for being with us and making our Easter so enjoyable." No children, we should be the ones to thank you for giving us the opportunity to share the joy of the Risen Lord with you today. |
![]() Dinner time, the end of another day, a memorable one for these little children, a day of hope that there is some love left in this world, all is not lost, there are still people out there who care. |
![]() Rest assured. We will be back! |

Parishioners of St John Bosco Church, Borivli, this was Easter Day, a day when most of us were celebrating at home with our family and friends. Some YOUth members of our parish, yes, thats right, from our very own parish, decided to share the joy and happiness of Easter with these little children. Most of these children have been abandoned because of their terminal illness. Maybe this selfless act will bring a tear in your eye but let these tears be tears of joy for if our YOUth act in this fashion then surely there is hope for humankind. The future of mankind is bright. May God bless YOU all and may this little deed of YOUrs inspire many others to emulate you. |
