YOUth visit to The Lord's Ranch
19th & 20th April 2008
(Mount Zion)
(On a slow connection, the pictures will take some time to load)

On 19th April, 2008 we set out early in the morning with a prayer by Fr. Allwyn. Took our brothers and sisters from Mira Road along with us and started our journey to Pune with excitement in our hearts. We were delayed in traffic because of an accident of a crane on the highway but not for long, instead of getting delayed for 16 hours as the news states we were delayed for 1 hour, that was not enough Satan tried other tricks in that scorching heat, the roads seemed narrow on the ghats of Pune where the bus couldn’t pass through, but because of our leaders Fr. Allwyn who loosened his pockets to the local people with jeeps and organized some transport and the songs of praises by Patrick all the way by which we were able to reach The Lords Ranch at 5.30pm. Once there we had a wash and sat for the banquet set by our lord. (01 Arrival)

We then got ourselves all cleaned up and had our tea meal. (02 Snacks)

To get started we had prayer service with singing and dancing and then had our Eucharistic celebration which was lacking for a very long time in his Ranch. (03 Prayer)

We then had our dinner with some Graceful music. (04 Dinner)

Then an Intercessory Rosary session to our lady completed that day but yet our young hearts were not at rest we made our bonfire and filled the night with songs of praises and dancing. (05 Campfire)

On 20th April, 2008 we got up to see the sun rising at 6.00 am. and started our meditation exercise. (06 Meditation)

Got together at the hall to move our bodies for God and then took our souls out to encounter and pay solidarity to our creator, through this spirituality each one of us expressed different forms of encounters on the A4 drawing papers with vibrant colours given to us. Fr. Allwyn gave us a wider imagination by his words. (07 Drawing)

And the results were worth seeing (08 Results)

We then broke our fast and got ready for the prayer service in which we had the basic learning for life teachings by Fr. Allwyn the five points that are important is 1.Evolution. 2. Belief 3.Change 4.Determination 5.Enthusiasm. We then had the Eucharistic Celebration with singing and praises. (09 Prayers)

There was a lot of singing (10 Singing)

And a lot of dancing too (11 Dancing)

Then got every thing packed to move with a changed heart and finding more meaning in our life. Had our fellowship meal together and started the journey home. 12 Last Meal But how can we forget the dip in the lake before entering the bus I must say although Fr. Allwyn wanted to move fast and did not like the idea of getting in the lake he was all for our happiness and gave us 15 minutes to enjoy the cold water in that hot and sunny afternoon. It was all that we lacked the touch of living water which we enjoyed.

It gave each one of us great joy to be with you and sing of the praises of our Lord Jesus Christ which brought about His presence and united us as one family. We greet you in the words of St. Paul from 2 Cor.13:13, “the love of God our Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.”
