Parish Notices, 1^st June, 2008.

9^th Sunday of the Liturgical Year

Next Friday is the First Friday of the month. There will be adoration and Divine healing service after the evening Mass. Special prayers will be offered for a good monsoon and also for children who are about to begin their new academic year.

St. Anthony’s Church, Vakola, Santacruz is organizing a Gospel Music Nite in their Church Grounds on this Sunday, 1^st June 2008 from 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. For further details, please see the notice board.

The Youth Prayer Group of our Parish is organizing a Gospel Music Talent Hunt, open to all our Parishioners and neighbouring Parishes on 8^th of June 2008 at Don Bosco School Hall. Forms are available at the Parish Office. For further details, please see the notice board or contact the ‘Praise Adonai Youth Cell.

The DBYM of our parish will be organizing the Inter-zonal Rink football and Throw ball Tournament on the 7^th & 8^th June from 9.00 a.m. onwards. Zoanl representatives please collect your entry forms from the parish office.

The Parish Council will meet next Saturday, 7^th June after the evening Mass.

There will be a meeting of all the Sunday School Catechists on 15^th June, after the 9.15 a.m. Mass.

Thanks to Mrs. Irene Cabral and her team from Jayraj ‘A’ zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.

Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mrs. Angela Pinto and her team from Jayraj Nagar ‘B’ zone.

Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.20,641/- God bless you for your generosity.
