27^th Sunday of the Liturgical Year

Tuesday, 7^th October is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

19^th October, 2008, is Mission Sunday. On this occasion, we will be having a Mission Fete with games stalls, food stalls, music, fun and frolic, in our School Hall and the adjoining compound. On this day house wives are requested to take a break from cooking at home and patronize the delicious home made, breakfast and lunch items that will be made available in the food counters. In this connection your zonal representatives will be visiting you to solicit your support in cash or kind, or sponsors for this worthy cause. The proceeds will go to mission centers in Ahmednagar.

Tomorrow / today is the last date for submitting the Retreat forms by the Confirmation children.

The Children’s Prayer Group will not be meeting during the Diwali Vacation and the next meeting will be on 15^th November, 2008.

Our Unit of Bombay Catholic Sabha will collect used / new clothes, blankets and utensils from parishioners to be forwarded to Orissa Communal violence / floods victims. Parishioners can bring the materials today and tomorrow and hand them over to Volunteers of the Sabha before or after masses.

All parishioners are requested to become members of Bombay Catholic Sabha, those eligible and who have not become members – the membership drive will be held from 4^th October to 26^th October. Volunteers of the Sabha will be available at all masses.

The Parish Council will meet today, after this Mass.

The Youth group will meet tomorrow / today after the 9.30 a.m. Mass.

Thanks to Mr. Antonio Cardozo and his team from Chikoowadi “B” zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.

Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mr. Agnelo Dias and his team from Eksar “A” zone.

Last Sunday’s collection was Rs. 35,085/-. God bless you for your generosity.
