Feast of Pentecost


Tomorrow / today is the feast of Pentecost

Tuesday, 13th May is the feast of Our Lady of Fatima.

Thursday, 15th May we begin the Novena to Mary Help of Christians. The feast Mass will be on Saturday, 24th May, at 7.30 p.m.

In view of the feast of Pentecost, our Parish is organizing a night vigil today from 9.00 to 12.00 p.m. All are invited.


Tomorrow / today on the occasion of the Pentecost day, the Archdiocese is organizing an All Mumbai Multilingual Prayer Service with the Eucharist from 4.00 p.m. onwards at St. Paul’s School Grounds, Dadar. For details, please see the notice board.


Pre-baptismal course for parents to be, will be held on 7th , 8th , 14th and 15th of June. Kindly register your name at the parish office.


St. Xavier’s Institute of Education, affiliated to the University of Mumbai is offering admission to B.Ed. degree courses, under Christian Minority quota. Forms for C.E.T. are issued at the A.T. Centres announced by the Government from 2-5-2008 to 22-5-08. After submitting your C.E.T. forms, you may please contact the College office for forms to the Christian Minority quota. The Parish is organizing a picnic for the Parish Pastoral Council members, Eucharistic Ministers, Sunday School Catechists and the Choir members, excluding children’s Choir. The picnic is scheduled for Saturday, 17th May and the place will be Suvidha at Gorai. Members of the above groups who are interested in coming are requested to give your names to the parish office by Wednesday 14th May. If we do not receive your name by that date, we will presume that you have other engagements and are not interested in coming for the picnic.

A reminder, to all those who have not paid their Community Welfare Fund (CWF), to do so. As the new academic year is fast approaching, there is the need to disburse funds for education.


Thanks to Mr. Lucas D’mello and his team from Gorai II ‘E’ zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.

Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mr. Peter Pego and his team from Chikoowadi ‘A’ zone.


Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.16,029/- God bless you for your generosity.
