Palm Sunday
Tomorrow / today is Palm Sunday
The blessing of the palms will be done at the Basketball Court after the 7.00 a.m. Mass and there after will proceed to the Church in procession.
I hope each one of you has taken the copy of Handbill with the Holy Week Programme of the great Tridum, i.e. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday – Easter Vigil. You will also find in the hand bill the programme for blessing of the houses. Just in case your house is not visited, it will be blessed in the following week.
There will be no mass on Maundy Thursday in the morning.
On Easter Sunday we shall have only 2 Masses at 7.00 a.m. and 9.15 a.m. There will be no evening Mass.
This year, the feast of Divine Mercy falls on Sunday, 30th March. The Novena in preparation to the feast of Divine Mercy will begin on Good Friday at 3.00 p.m. All the other days the recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be held after the evening Mass for greater participation.
Tomorrow/Today after the 9.15 a.m. Mass, there will be a meeting of all the parents of children who are receiving First Holy Communion.
Tuesday 18th March, the Senior Citizens will be going on a pilgrimage. The bus will leave Don Bosco premises at 7.30 in the morning.
Bible Cell will meet tomorrow/today after the evening Mass.
Thanks to Mr. Robert Machado and his team from Gorai I ‘A’ zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.
Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mrs. Luia D’Souza from Gorai I “B” zone.
The SCC will meet as follows:
17th March, Jairaj Nagar, at the residence of Mrs. Clara D’Souza
The SVP members wish to thank you for the 2nd Sunday collection which amounted to Rs.3,512/=
Last Sunday’s collection was Rs. 17,780/= God bless you for your generosity.
