33rd Sunday of the Liturgical Year


Tomorrow / today is the Birthday of Fr. Salu. While we thank the Lord for the gift of life He has given to him, we would like to thank Fr. Salu, for the services he renders in the church and pray that he may be blessed with good health. Unfortunately you will not be able to wish him personally, since Fr. Salu prefers to stay away on his birthday.


Tomorrow/ today, 16th November, we shall resume the Children’s Mass and the Sunday School as usual. (only for children’s Mass) After this Mass, the children are requested to go to their respective classes for the Sunday School.


18th November is the day of dedication of the Basilica of St. Peter & Paul.

21st November is the feast of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

22nd November is the feast of St. Cecilia, patroness of Musicians. We wish all the different choirs a very happy feast and may God bless you for rendering hymn service through your music ministry.


23rd November is the feast of Christ the King. The theme will be Communal Harmony and Peace. Kindly begin thinking and preparing your banners and placards for the same. There will be only one Mass in the Church at 7.00 a.m. There will be no Sunday School on 23rd November. In the evening, we shall have three zonal Masses. The Mass timings will be as follows:

  1. Shanti Daan at 3.45 p.m.

  2. St. Anne’s at 4.00 p.m.

  3. O.L. of Velankanni School at 4.00 P.m.

After the Mass we shall proceed in procession to the church for the adoration service. Please prepare banners or posters on communal harmony and peace. Those in charge make sure that during the procession the Rosary is recited, hymns are sung and in general the procession should have a witness value especially for our non-Christian brothern and not a display of fun and light headedness.


The Children’s prayer ministry will resume from 22nd November at 5.30 p.m.


The Bible Cell will meet tomorrow / today after the evening Mass.


The Rink Football tournament finals will be played tomorrow / today. All are welcome to witness the Matches.


Tomorrow / today, New MHB Colony and Eksar zones will have their Annual thanksgiving Mass at 5.30 p.m. followed by a get together.


Thanks to Mr. Lawrence Ambrose and his team from Gorai I “D” zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.


Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mr. Deepak Bansode and his team from Gorai II “A” zone.


The SCC will meet as follows:

17th November, Jairaj Nagar, at the residence of Mrs. Rita Fernandes

20th November, Eksar, at the residence of Mr. Cyril Miranda.

21st November, L.T. Road, at the residence of Mr. George D’silva.


Last Sunday’s collection was Rs. 16,916/-. God bless you for your generosity.
