ST. JOHN BOSCO PARISH

Parish Notices, 20th July, 2008.

16th Sunday of the Liturgical Year

Next Sunday, 27th of July we celebrate the feast of Sts. Joachim & Anne, parents of Our Lady. In our parish it will be a day when we felicitate and show our gratitude to our parents. The 8.15 a.m. Mass will be animated by the Sunday School children. We expect their parents to accompany them. The 9.30 a.m. Mass will be animated by the youth. It will be nice for the parents to witness the sentiments of these teenagers.

At 10.45 a.m. (after the 9.30 a.m. Mass) we shall have a cultural programme in the school hall.

There will be no Sunday School on 27th July. However all the children who are not taking part in any of the items, are requested to bring a small piece of Chart Paper and colour pencils.

From the 3rd of August, we shall begin the Sunday School for Std. X students. We have taken this decision, in consultation with their parents.

I would like to thank all the P.P.C. members and the SCC coordinators who took part in the training programme last Sunday.

Tomorrow / today after the 8.15 a.m. Mass, there will be a meeting of all parents whose children are going to receive confirmation in the year 2009.

The Bible Cell will meet tomorrow / today after the evening Mass
