12th Sunday of the Liturgical Year
24th June is the feast of Nativity of St. John the Baptist.
27th June is the feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Succor.
The Sunday School will begin from this Sunday 22nd June, 2008. All the children are requested to assemble in the school hall for the official inauguration. Parents are requested to ensure that their children attend the 8.15 a.m. Sunday Mass and there after the Sunday school on a regular basis.
In view of what was decided last year for the convenience of all, there will be a slight change in the Sunday morning Mass timings with effect from this Sunday. The Mass timings will be as follows:
7.00 a.m.
8.15 a.m.
9.30 a.m. and
5.30 p.m. will remain as usual.
Tomorrow evening the 5.30 p.m. mass will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Fernandes, the provincial of the Mumbai Province. We welcome him in our midst and hope his stay will be an enjoyable one.
“Praise Adoni Youth Cell” under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Allwyn Misquitta has begun a “Children’s Prayer Cell” The first meeting was held today / yesterday and will be held every Saturday from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
This Sunday 22nd June, is ‘Laity Sunday’. During the 9.30 a.m. Mass, we shall have the commissioning of Lay Leaders of the different Cells / groups /Movements in our parish.
The Yogi North zone will celebrate their Annual Thanksgiving Mass followed by get-together and fellowship tomorrow / today at 5.30 p.m.
There will be a recollection for Sunday School Catechists on next Sunday 29th June at St. Anne’s High School from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
The Annual General Body meeting of the Bombay Catholic Sabha will be held on next Sunday 29th June 2008 after the evening Mass.
Our Parish bulletin Bosco Beams is in the process of being published. You are requested to sent in your news, views, articles and advertisements latest by 26th June, 2008.
Thanks to Ms. Agnes D’Costa and her team from New MHB Colony, “A” zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.
Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mrs. Mary Fernandes and her team from New MHB Colony ‘B’ zone.
Last Sunday’s collection was Rs.15,929/- God bless you for your generosity.

The winner for the best attendance for Mass during the Holidays is Regan Dantis. He receives the Fr. Dominic Almeida award for best attendance for daily Mass.

On reading the Bosco Beams, I found a few mistakes. Any child, who can find any mistake in the Bosco Beams will be given a prize for bringing it to my notice quickly and for most mistake discovered.
