Easter Sunday


Easter Sunday we shall have only 2 Masses at 7.00 a.m. and 9.15 a.m. There will be no evening Mass.


This year, the feast of Divine Mercy fall on Sunday, 30th March. There will be a special service next Sunday, 30th March, from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. The Novena in preparation to the feast of Divine Mercy has begun on Good Friday. Rest of the days the recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be held after the evening Mass for greater participation.


Next sunday 30th March, 23 of our children will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation at the hands of Bishop Percival Fernandes, during the 9.15 a.m. Mass.


The Salesian co-operators of St. John Bosco Parish are organizing a Konkani Drama entitled "Duddvanchem Sukh" on 8th April, 2008. For details please see the notice board.


Thanks to Mrs. Luia D'Souza and her team from Gorai I 'B' zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.


Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mrs. Delsie D'Silva from Gorai I "C" zone.


The SCC will meet as follows:

28th March, Gorai III, at the residence of Mrs. Teresa Khanvale.


A short notice from the Bombay Catholic Sabha:
In connection with the attack of the nuns at Alibaug. While the perpetrators of the crime have all been released on bail, a tribal activist, Mrs. Vaishali Patil has been charged under the atrocities act.

Hence on Tuesday, March 25th we will sit in a Dharna at Azad Maidan, V.T. between 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. we urge every single citizen who is angry, to join in during this period even if it means for a short time between 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m.
