34th Sunday of the Liturgical Year


Next Sunday 30th November is the first Sunday of Advent


Tomorrow / today as we move in procession towards the church after the zonal Masses, kindly refrain from shouting slogans. Let us continue praying that we might experience the Kingdom of God here on earth, a Kingdom that is characterized by Peace, Justice and Love.


Snehalaya Family Service Centre has sent us the dates of Marriage Preparation Courses from January to June 2009. All those planning to get married are requested to participate in a Marriage Preparation Course at least 6 months before your wedding and attend a Marriage Enrichment Programme after your wedding. For details please see the notice board.


There will be a Catechist’s meeting on 30th November after the Sunday School. Also on the same day in the evening there will be a recollection for Catechists at St. Anne’s High School from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.


A 2 hour awareness programme on Domestic Violence and Human Rights is being organized on 6th December 2008 in Hall no. 3, sharp at 10.30 a.m. All are invited. The main speakers will be Advocate Jaya Menon & MAVA (Men Against Violence and Abuse)


Past Pupil’s Association of Don Bosco are organizing a career fair on Saturday, 29th November from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. ‘Young Buzz’ will be putting up various careers on display and counselors will be available for clarifications. All are welcome.


Those interested in joining the Christmas Choir, kindly give your name to Mrs. Angela D’souza.

Thanks to Mr. Deepak Bansode and his team from Gorai II “A” zone, for cleaning the Church this Saturday.


Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mr. Renwick D’silva and his team from Gorai II “B” zone.
