Feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ


Tomorrow / today is the feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

Next Friday, 30th May is the feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Next Saturday, 31st May is the feast of Visitation of Blessed Virgin Mary


As you are aware Fr. Santarita has been transferred to Dominic Savio High School, Andheri from where he will pursue his career in technical education. We would like to take this occasion to thank Fr. Santarita for all the services he has rendered in this parish, being regular for the morning Masses on Friday and Saturday and till the last year being regular with his zonal meetings. If you are enjoying delicious dishes at home, it is because of the various courses that he has been organizing, like bakery, salad dressing and Chinese cooking. He did all this, besides his regular schedule of work at Bosco Boys’ Home. Two weeks ago he inaugurated a new electronic division and now in collaboration with Mahindras, they are opening a new automobile section. Thank you Fr. Santarita and may God the Almighty bless you.


From the 24th of May our transfers come into effect. While we thank Fr. Salu for his job as the administrator, we want to congratulate and thank Fr. Allwyn for taking on the added responsibility of being the new Administrator.


The Torch Bearers for Christ is the official youth wing of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Mumbai. Torch Bearers have organized the Gospel Musical Concert entitled “ARISE 2008” on Sunday, May 25th 2008 (tomorrow / today) at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Kandivli West, from 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. For details, please see the notice board.


St. Anthony’s Church, Vakola, Santacruz is organizing a Gospel Music Nite in their Church Grounds on 1st June 2008 from 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. For further details, please see the notice board.


The Parish Priest will be away, from Sunday the 25th May to Monday 2nd June.


Thanks to Mr. Anthony Cardozo and his team from Chikoowadi ‘B’ zone for cleaning the Church this Saturday.


Next Saturday, the cleaning of the Church will be done by Mrs. Irene Cabral and her team from Jayraj Nagar ‘A’ zone.


Last Sunday’s collection amounted to Rs.15,827/- God bless you for your generosity.
